Peter Schiff is the president of Euro Pacific Capital Inc., a brokerage firm based in Darien, Connecticut. Peter adheres to the principles of the Austrian School of Economics and the Ludwig von Mises Institute [5]. Schiff appears as a guest on CNBC, Fox News, and Bloomberg Television and is quoted in major financial publications.

Schiff points to the low savings rates of the United States as its worst malady, citing the transformation from being the world's largest creditor nation in the '70s to the largest debtor nation at the turn of 2000. His extremely bearish views on the US Dollar, the United States stock market, bond market, and the United States economy have earned him the nickname "Dr. Doom."[6]

He was an economic adviser for the Ron Paul campaign to win the 2008 Republican Party nomination for the Presidency.[1] Schiff writes a weekly commentary about current economic conditions. His father is tax protester Irwin Schiff.

Schiff wrote a book called "Crash Proof" - 2007 (ISBN 978-0-470-04360-8) and also hosts a live internet / shortwave radio show called "Wall Street Unspun."[2]

现在载的下载速度是10年前的10倍

我经常下载些mp3的节目听。在办公室下载，速度非常快。经常都是每个下载达到200k－400k。都是从美国的服务器下。快30mb的东西，一份多种就能下完。

想想10年前、5年前的速度。现在真是感觉非常快。看着就舒服。：）

这点提醒我，现在发布的录音和录像节目，还是应该保留/提供高比特率的下载。比如所有音频和视频都保留最高分辨率的存档。将来会有人下的。

6、Gmail被盗申诉

QQ被盗后可以到腾讯申诉取回，同样Gmail也有相似的服务。当你发现Gmail或Google帐户被盗后，可以打开https://services.google.com/inquiry/gmail_security1，选择相应的项目后你会被要求提供关于你Gmail的信息，包括最常联系的人的邮箱、你所创建的标签名称、邀请人邮箱（如果你是被邀请注册的）、最后登录日期、Gmail申请日期等等。

有了它，基本不需要用sed加wget组合了。
bloglines或者google reader加上firefox+downlaod them all就好了。

以前用hpodder。
现在也不太想用ipodder之类觉得麻烦，其实也不麻烦，但不知道为什么了。

浏览器下就不错。当然是配合这类批量下载工具和在线的rss阅读程序。：）
