The Production Code (popularly known as the Hays11 Code or the Breen12 Office) was the set of industry censorship guidelines, and the office enforcing them, which governed the production of United States motion pictures13 from 1930 to 1968. The Motion Pictures Producers and Distributors Association (MPPDA), which later became the Motion Picture Association of America14 (MPAA), adopted the code in 193015, began effectively enforcing it in 193416, and abandoned it in 196817 in favor of the subsequent MPAA film rating system18. The Production Code spelled out what was morally acceptable19 and morally unacceptable content for motion pictures produced for a public audience in the United States.

翻译成“墨西哥对峙”好么？对峙倒是一眼就能看出这个说法的意思。但没有了standoff这层最初的意思。

简单说就是电影中常见的相互制约：多个人，多种势力，拿枪互相对着。谁也不想开枪因为一旦一个开枪，就破坏了对峙的平衡，而且你开枪打别人时不能防止令一个人开枪打你（这点和两个人对峙谁先开枪击毙对方就安全了不一样），所以一旦动火，都是已的大家都玩完告终。当然，英雄人物总是能活下来。：）

本词条从19世纪晚期开始使用，最初是形容墨西哥人在政治上做决定摇摆不定，很难下决心，贬义，且有侮辱墨西哥人的口气。

当时的电影片子都喜欢男女主角很亲热的这种噱头。当然因为女主角很有名嘛。我觉得这种做法特别傻。

剧情最有意思的是：

电影《色戒》的名字到这名字到底有没有一语双关

我看有。虽然大家会因为英文译名怀疑自己的想法。

中文 戒 字很明显也有戒指的意思，而不光是防备（caution），而且影片中戒指也“是个角色”。色，因为片子上映前混蛋媒体过多炒作情色的色这层意思，让人不容易想到颜色的色。有颜色的戒指。

今天浏览一下电影介绍也看到了类似说法。第一个说法，就是上海话 色 和 失 同音我刚知道。那岂不是一语三关了。有意思。

** 韩国电影old-boy应该是老校友的意思，而不应该翻译为老男孩

其实电影里面在主人公向那个年轻的主人公求情的那段，说得很明白，说我们是什么什么学校的old boy嘛，似乎用的就是英文。

所以，名字翻译成老男孩不合适。

我是碰巧前几天看一本英语问答的书有人文old-boy network什么意思，答是指老校友的关系网。我一下反应过来。

** 电影里运用火车有一种“神秘和期待”的效果

听wgbh forum中的一段采访，是关于一部3个美国兄弟在印度相会要重修亲情的片子。是个喜剧。片中和火车有关的戏份很重。导演说因为他觉得火车给人“mysterique”的感觉。而且说发生在火车上的事情，虽然是在一个狭小的空间内，但因为窗外景物是流动的，而且给人一种在行进到下一个目的地的感觉，所以观众有“anticipation”。这些都使电影有了些特别的感觉。当然他自己常坐火车而且喜欢那种感觉也有关系。

我觉得他对火车的两个描述准确而且开阔了我的思路。

我是在npr fair game上听到采访这个片子的那主角，演教授那个。之中说到中国演员，我怎么都想不出是谁。查了一下，那个中国男演员是liu ye。采访里老lu yi；lu ye的，我以为lu yi呢。现在想很合理，美国人很难发出“刘”这个音，一般都用“路”这个音代替。

卢刚生于北京市，18岁考入北京大学物理系，1984年通过CUSPEA考试，1985年本科毕业后进入爱荷华大学物理与天文学系攻读研究生。1991年通过答辩获得博士学位。他的博士论文题目是《Study of the "critical ionization velocity" effect by particle-in-cell simulation (ionization)》，导师是本系教授克里斯托弗·戈尔咨（Christoph K. Goertz）

1991年11月1日下午三点半左右，卢刚进入了正在进行专题研讨会的爱荷华大学凡艾·伦物理系大楼（Van Allen Hall）三楼的309室，在旁听约五分钟后，他突然拔出左轮手枪开枪射击，他首先击中他的博士研究生导师，47岁的戈尔咨教授，并在戈尔咨教授倒下之后，又在教授脑后补了一枪；然后，他又朝他的博士研究生导师助理史密斯（Robert Alan Smith）副教授身上开了两枪。此时，在场的众多人士刚刚有所醒悟，纷纷逃离现场，这时卢刚又瞄准了当时在场的另一位中国留学生，27岁山林华博士，接连向山林华的的脑部和胸膛连开数枪。随后，卢刚离开了第一现场到达二楼208室系主任办公室，一枪射杀了44岁的系主任尼克森（Dwight R. Nicholson）。在确认尼克森死亡之后，卢刚又返回第一现场，发现几个学生正在抢救奄奄一息的史密斯教授，于是又朝史密斯的脑部补发了致命的一枪。

然后卢刚持枪离开物理系大楼到达生物系大楼，由一楼走到四楼，似乎在寻找一名女性目标（有目击者见他进入女厕所寻人），其间遇到师生多人，但卢刚并未开枪滥杀。

在未找到射击目标之后，卢刚又进入了行政大楼，衝入一楼111室的校长办公室，向副校长安妮·克黎利（T. Anne Cleary）前胸和太阳穴连开两枪，又朝办公室内的学生秘书茜尔森（Miya Sioson）开了一枪。

随后，卢刚到达二楼的203室，饮弹自尽。

整个枪击过程不足20分钟，卢刚在自杀前总共向六个人开枪，除女学生茜尔森（Miya Sioson）被击中脊椎，颈部以下全身瘫痪外，其余五人全部丧命。

警方在随后的调查中又有些许的发现，杀人者使用的武器为38口径连发左轮手枪，另一把22口径手枪被随身携带但未使用。此外警方也截获并扣押了卢刚在事发前几天寄回国内的包裹、家信、汇款等，并查到了卢刚的遗书，据爱荷华大学官方宣称遗书共五页，其中四页英文一页中文，但在事发一个多月后警方仅向媒体公开了四页英文遗书。

关于杀人者的枪杀动机，警方未有正式的结论，但据部分媒体报道，枪击的直接原因可能是由于博士论文最高奖学金没有由卢刚获得，而是由山林华获得。另有说法认为，枪击的原因可能在于经过长达6年辛勤工作得到博士学位的卢刚，却无法得到一份应得的可以维持生计的体面工作，走投无路的他决定自杀，并对社会的不公进行极端报复。

卢刚事件在美国华人社圈中反响很大，各华文报刊几乎众口一辞，对卢刚其人痛加指责。另有小部分人认为其行为是中国人对美国社会的反抗，打破了中国人在美国社会一向沉默、驯服的形象。

在枪击事件发生后的第三天，受害人之一的安妮·克黎利女士的家人，通过媒体发表了一封给卢刚家人的公开信，信中追忆了安妮·克黎利女士的成就，并以宽容的态度希望能分担彼此的哀伤。

苏菲玛索演什么有什么感觉。眼神也特别好。她本身是个很漂亮而且很容易让人记住脸庞的人。但我看她出演的不同角色，都都能很入神的演出来。

《苔丝》里面把贵族没落的时代， 有钱人买贵族头衔，完全没落贵族还有遗老遗少感觉，还有就是老百姓真是苦啊！！苔丝给我印象最深的台词就是“能吃苦么，这里苦活多得是”。

安娜

看安娜钱我提前听简写版做功课，对故事有一些了解。我听的是内地一个出版社引进的简写版配有cd。

电影有些省略和改变让人觉得几位主角的做法理由不够充分。比如男主人公要自杀。安娜为什么待在旅馆中不能出去会变得那么神经质。但有一点，简写书里没有提安娜后来经常服用“鸦片衍生物”。影片中翻译为镇静剂还是止疼剂。但画面上瓶子上写着opiate。我当时认为是鸦片，那么她后来经常有幻觉甚至让人觉得她paranoid也应该和过量服用有关！更为可怕的是她用酒服下！但我今天查了下字典，这个词还是以止疼药的意思为主，只是这种止疼姚用到了鸦片中的一些物质。

电影有个片段很逗。叙事者去拜访他哥哥，哥哥喝得醉醺醺，说这是我从妓院买的女人，我们结婚了，你要尊重她，虽然她是我从妓院买的。该女劝主人公哥哥别老喝酒。哥哥深手要打她并催促她做饭去。两人突然又相拥了。弟弟看着不知所措。一会儿弟弟对哥哥说要给他些钱让他出国还是避风头。他哥哥说，怎么，他们要抓我，像迫害其他共产党员那样杀了我。当时场子大笑。说什么好呢，是当时俄国的共产党最大限度地团结了各阶层的人民，还是林子大了什么鸟都有，还是该书要丑化共产党形象。电影几次都提到共产党在“兴风作浪”之类。这些没落的沙皇贵族，你们生活如此糜烂，还不让人家革命啊。不过电影对当时俄国普通老百姓的生活风貌没有任何描写。也许是电影没有顾及那些。

想到王小波一篇文章写他们当年去一个美国左派家，其实就是去蹭一宿省旅馆钱。那篇文章把一部分当年美国反文化运动中的老左派形象描写的不错。当然，他描写的只是一部分。

电影翻译和配音

电影翻译和配音都很不错。但还是多次出现笑场。有些话说得没错，但当代青年绝对不会说也不会在当代电视剧里听到的说法，还有些话说得那么“矫情”。具体记不清楚了。但这些小插曲也让节奏略微显慢的电影变得更有趣（苔丝节奏慢，时间长）。

** 看了2场国产电影和编导演与观众见面会。一个感觉：把电影拍好很难。

《一年到头》编剧非和镜头非要把不需要联系那么紧的几个人物搞得很紧凑，不管是剧情上，更是镜头上。让我觉得很傻。没那个必要。还有一个就是用了很多噱头让剧情紧凑，但我就是记不住情节。看个20分钟需要努力想一下已经演过的情节是什么。

gang的的画面不错，只是不错，音乐非常一般。怀疑大部分音乐盒声效只是用音源库在电脑上写，加上鼓的素材库弄出来的。没感觉有什么西藏当地采样实录的音乐。而且音乐真是一般。似乎在模仿欧洲电子音乐有西藏或者东方味道的但没人家好。

有观众提出剧本逻辑不通、细节不注意，比如汉人酒吧老板在根本不可能知道男主人公给女主人公讲的故事的情况下竟然在留给女主人公的信里提到了那个故事的主要任务和清洁。男主人公知道这个故事也很蹊跷，这个故事是他爷爷的故事。他爷爷离家去拉萨碰见心爱女人但阴差阳错是摔成失意，只是在死前说了ganglameiduo四个字。但他爷爷的孙子却知道爷爷摔成失意前在拉萨河如何摔成失意的故事。又比如从拉萨到神湖4-5个小时车程，但主人公明显走了几天几夜。而且沿途风景都是li2zhi1的。可是导演回答“我要一种情怀”。并加以你们应该关于我要的情怀，你们要知道我冒生命危险在冰面摄像来着、你们理解这电影了么、这些不合逻辑的东西其实你放在神秘神奇的西藏土地上带着我要你们懂得那种情怀去体会就会懂了，艺术是高于生活的之类

我同意电影不可能也没有必要完全忠于现实。但取舍什么、忽视什么（不论是逻辑还是自然规律）都应该有个标准：就是 where to draw the line? where is the cut off? 这个标准应该是开始时有的，这样碰到剧本和拍摄时需要不太合常理的问题时用这个标准去比一下就好了。提前有个标准好。因为艺术就是高于生活的，不需要非要受那些限制。但开始心中没有标准，弄完了别人说出什么了可能是自己失误和错误的地方然后以艺术高于生活、需要体会情怀之类的话就像是借口了。

我想画画的人不是去拍照，再不符合现实的画，只要是艺术家比较严肃构思和画的，都会有一个标准。抽象和超现实也不是乱涂的。

观众

最令我失望的是观众提问。无非两种，1）感谢型。发言内容为你们的电影太好了。我太感动了。你们太棒了。 2）以我为主型。发言内容为我经历的生活和电影有类似的，以下是我的经历，blah blah。更有观众说大家要爱护国产电影，要爱护ganglameiduo这部电影，不要挑小毛病，说挑毛病的人“没有情怀”。

足球界有句话说足球比赛的水平和裁判的水平是息息相关的。所以足球裁判这个职业高水平裁判（从头衔上看，如国际基裁判）还是国内联赛水平高的国家多。我觉得很有道理，因为有高水平的比赛，有各种情况出现，裁判才能练出实战能力吧。

回到电影，这两个片子给我最大体会就是电影很难。我想拍得人、写的人和演的人都很努力，可东西出来，从我这感觉，还不是太好。我说不好不等于不好。我只是想人家这么努力弄的东西怎么到我这儿我觉得不好啊。里面有个原因应该是电影这个东西涉及到艺术领域很多、真正能实施起来牵扯到的人员也多，是一个集体项目。集体项目绝比个人项目难。个人的事情哪个国家都会有勤奋的天才。

我们国家的体育，个人项目有很多高手。集体项目相对弱很多。我国艺术领域有么有类似情况。

当然，最关键的因素还是电影是个管制非常非常严格的领域。所以参与的人很少。而且参与进去又因为是集体项目，牵扯的人和钱很多，所以能做下来的就更少了。更别说好看的了。

最后声明：我认为这2部电影是否好看和电影本身的好坏和你们是否会觉得这两部电影好看没有一点关系。别信我。除非你认识我并知道我个人喜好是否适合你。

首先，我认为该片不算很暴力，
除了几个镜头以外．
其次，看了之后．
我觉得该片的风格很像很像古龙的武侠小说：
平静的乡间小镇，隐藏着归隐江湖的武林高手．．
再次，头一个出场人物居然有t-bag，
扮相比较老，依然做着他经典的擤鼻涕的动作。
还是个变态。。

片子不长，也挺好看的。
有几个镜头也太写实了吧。看了会恶心的。

都是狠角色啊

看了这个电影，感觉很像很像 葛优演过的一部电影。
查了查，叫 《消失的女人》
都是用平实的类似纪录片的手法描写一个杀人案的。
police不伟大，普通人。
破案并不是依靠什么手段，也不曲折。
仅仅是平静地向我们描述了案情本身。

冰血暴 中文名字谁翻译的？
跟fargo一点关系都没有嘛~

片中人物说话很有意思。
“yeah”发音是"ya~"
该地人说话巨喜欢用yeah，搭配不同升降调就可以表疑问还是肯定还是惊异。
一对话就充斥着各种腔调的“ya~~”
很像唱歌~

片子不错，值得一看。

周日陪lp复习了一遍sin city。
属于拍的比较牛的片子之一。
黑白片子加上时不时弥漫出来的红色和黄色，
十分有视觉冲击力。
好像姜文的鬼子来了最后那段也用了该手法。

片子稍微暴力了点，
不过人物刻画和拍摄手法都很好。
演员也很好。
即使你不喜欢黑色和暴力，
这也是一部值得一看的片子。

last weekend I reviewed sin city with my wife.
it is one of the coolest movies.
black and white film but uses red or yellow to demostrate the blood or sex sometimes.
it's full of impact.
I remember the Guizilaile of JiangWen also used this way in the end of movie.

it is a bit too violence.
but the gesture of shoot and character profile are very good.
although maybe you dislike black and violence movie. It is still a movie you shouldnt miss .

气氛灰蒙蒙的，压抑，让人对未来世界很没信心。
剧情简单，一碗白开水。
其实是个伦理片，不过其伦理性一句话就能概括，而且是个简单句。
最后看到那个女的做着体操动作跳过来时，恍然大悟：我考，这片子我小时候看过（寒～）。
很容易看睡着了，我觉得不好看。

actually it's a ethic film, but you can use a single sentence to summarize its ethic.
when i saw the girl jumped as an gymnastic athlete , I recalled surprisedly: shit, I have seen the film when i was a child!
easily feel sleepy, and i dislike the film.
